Fun Activities During Your November Stay
The peak camping season may have ended, but the newly remodeled Steamboat Inn is still open at Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™. Along with it, you will find that while the water park is closed for the season, most amenities are still open to enjoy during your stay. Guests will find a quieter park and lots of fun activities in and around the park to make their stay enjoyable. We also have a couple of great deals for those traveling during the November holidays.
Plenty To Do!
This is the time of year to enjoy a much quieter park. Those staying at the Steamboat Inn may wish to:
- Fish the day at our catch and release pond.
- Play a relaxingly slow round of mini-golf.
- Take a stroll through the beautiful grounds in the cool November air.
You will find plenty to fill your itinerary when you stay with us during the fall months.
There Are Some Fun Activities Nearby Too
November tends to have highs in the mid-50s in the area. So many of our campers staying at the Steamboat Inn are looking for things to do that are a little on the warmer side. The nearby town of Hannibal has quite a few fun activities that the whole family might enjoy. One of which is the Mississippi Mind Trap.

The Mississippi Mind Trap is an escape room just about 25 miles from Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™. It is perfect for adults & older kids. Participants must attempt to find clues and solve puzzles while trying to complete their mission within the time limit in one of two realistically themed rooms.
Through November, there are two rooms available. Diner 79: A Taste of Poison in which you must solve the mystery of who’s poisoning the food at the iconic local diner. You can also immerse yourself in the Christmas-style escape room, SCROOGE!, where the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come will guide you to help Ebenezer Scrooge.
